We have been promising the kids a trampoline for sometime now, but we couldn't find the one we wanted. All of the ones I looked at were only 12' and they all had the safety nets around them. I don't really like the nets because as the kids fall into them over and over, they end up sagging and looking yucky.
I finally found a 14' one (with a net) at Wally-World, so I bought it and we put it up last Sunday. We just left the net off. The kids have been having a ball jumping. Ellie likes to bounce with someone holding her, but if she's on by herself, she just sits there for a minute and then she crawls to the edge to get off.
It was a lot of work putting it together! All of us were out trying to help Gary, but after half of the springs were on, he was the only one strong enough to pull the rest of the springs and get them hooked into place. Last night, we thought about sleeping outside on the trampoline because it felt so good, but I'm sure glad we didn't! We woke up to rain and thunder and there's a fire somewhere
closeby. When you go outside, you can't see past the neighbors house for smoke and the smell of fire is everywhere....I hope it's not up by
Pomerelle!!!
