Last leg of Easter relay races

The last part of our relay races was supposed to be a light kicking of some hard-boiled eggs around the chair and back. Treven and Sam started us once again, but Treven kicked his egg so hard right off the bat that it broke all over the grass...whose idea was that? We altered the game a bit and we used the spoons from the cottonball race to gently push the eggs. We still went through 6 or 7 eggs! This is Tiffany and Chelsey tradng spots.

Sally was coming home as Brooke takes off for the other team. Notice all of the broken eggs on the grass!

Stephanie and Whitney racing their eggs toward the finish line! The games were so much fun and gave the kids a little something to do before the egg hunt! Stay tuned for more pics of the hunt!

Cotton ball relay

The second leg of our relay races was the cotton ball relay. Each team had a serving spoon with a cotton ball on it and one team member at a time raced around the chair and back. This is Jason and Chelsey racing.

This is Natalie coming in to pass off to the next member of her team!

Sam and Treven started things off again on this game. Sam is already home and in the background you can see Treven stopping to pick up his cotton ball!

Easter Hop Race

We had a family Easter party at my house on the Saturday before Easter. To help keep the kids less bored, I planned a few relay games. The adults were suppose to play, too, but there were a lot of party poopers! Mostly the guys! We divided into two teams and the first relay was the bunny hop race. This is Lindsay getting ready for her turn in the sack.

Treven and Sam got to start the teams off. We had a chair about the length of that section of the yard. The boys got too pooped to go the whole way and back, so we moved the chair up about halfway!

Justice was quite the hopper! She really could move since she was only as tall as the sack!

Brooke and Ivy were up against each other. The racers were pretty much lined up by size and age so no one had an unfair advantage!
